Jean Christophe Courreges
Jean Christophe Courreges has been promoting boxing in France from 1984 to 1992 and in the USA since then.
He became an american citizen in 2001 and has since promoted fights all over the world in france, the USA, South Africa, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, Belgium, Asia…
He has promoted and managed hundred of fighters including world, european champions or contenders such as Henry Akinwande, byron mitchell the tiozzo brothers, stephane haccoun, mohammed benguesmia, rodolfo aguilar,victor cordoba,bruno wartelle, sedreck fields, eugene speed, aaron superman davis,frankie randall, jerome le banner,ian the giant nortje, franck nicotra,tavoris cloud,alfonso mosquera..
He is also currently promoting the Ubersmash mma series in the USA. He has been working with Eurosport since 1991 and has achieved highest tv ratings for boxing fights of france’s history on tf1 in the eighties and nineties.
His last 2 eurosport promotions in 2009 brought more than a million viewers each time with the K1 superstar Jerome Le Banner as the main draw.
Stephane Cabrera
Stephane CABRERA has been involved with fighting sports for over 20 years: kickboxing, muay thai, boxing and mma on the highest level.
In 1994 he created the WKN ( World Kickboxing network ) with M. Olivier MULLER ( former World president of the ISKA ) after obtaining several positions as national and continental representative . Now WKN is considered the number one kickboxing federation in the world and the most active with several TV agreements ( with Fox sport , Fox , Eurosport , Sky sport … ) and some of the greatest champions such as Tyrone SPONG, Jerome LEBANER, Stephane LEKO, Dmitri SHAKUTA, Loris AUDOUI, Jorge ACERO CALI, Rayen SIMSON, Alexander USTNOV … and many more in over than 122 countries . He is now WKN World president and makes authorities in the (not sure WHAT THIS SENTENCE MEANS) kickboxing/Thaiboxing world market as one of the most experienced people in the field.
In 1998 he became Vice World president of the nototrious branch IVC ( International Vale tudo Council ) and did some assistance work in Brazil with M. Sergio BATTARELLI for the first MMA fights at the top level and also imported the sport in EUROPE where he was the first one to promote and organize VALE TUDO / MMA campionship . Most of the top fighterscontrolled by IVC became very FAMOUS in the USA and JAPANESE Market such as : Vanderlei SILVA , Chuck LIDDLE , Jose Pele LANDI , Dan SEVERN , Gary GOODRIDGE , Carlos BARRETO , Mike VAN ARSDALE , Renato SOBRAL , Wallid ISMAIL , Eugene JACKSON , Johil DE OLIVEIRA ..
in 1999 after a meeting with M. Jean Christophe COURREGES in ATLANTA/USA , for the WKN WORLD THAI BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP Promoting Jerome LEBANNER vs Espedito DA SILVA , by DON KING himself , he began BOXING professional activities under P.P.G Promotion and participated as a matchmaker/promoters assistant in different promotions all around EUROPE , AFRICA and USA under DON KING company.
With WKN he succeeded in involving very famous and well know figures such as : MARADONA , Marveen HAGLER , Mike TYSON , Don KING , Alain DELON , Nestor KIRCHNER the former president of ARGENTINA , M. Vladimir POUTINE former president of RUSSIA , M. Alexander LUKASHENKO president of BELARUS and many others to give the fighting sport the best audience and most fame.
This new project BIGGERS BETTER is the logical progression of a complete life z100% devoted to fighting sports .. The experience of M. Jean Christophe COURREGES in the Boxing business, the talent of DON TURNER one of the best boxing trainers in the world , the TV Knowledge of Jean Philippe LUSTICK as the M. Jean-Philippe Lustyk
Jean-Philippe Lustyk is the boxing expert of France.
Journalist and commentator since 1985, he has been a witness to the most prestigious fights all around the world, from Vegas to Tokyo, Mexico, London, New York … and so on. While working for the greatest media: Canal+, TF1, Europe 1 and Orange.
He is also the boxing producer for Eurosport since fifteen years and under this title JP Lustyk sets all the programming and boxing strategy for the first Pan EUropean channel. His passion and expertize are unanimously acknowledged on an national and international level.
Don Turner
We are very proud to announce that mister Don Turner has come on board the BIGGER’S BETTER venture as boxing consultant. He will participate in the choosing of the talent.
Don Turner has been in boxing for more than 50 years , he was elected trainer of the year by the boxing writers association of America in 1996.
He has trained more than 19 world champions, the most famous being evander Holyfield with Turner in his corner for the 2 wins over Mike Tyson, as well as Larry Holmes, aaron pryor, mike mc callum, henry akinwande or chris tiozzo and many others.
